| Description | This was originally a contest entry. The theme was fantasy/sci-fi
creatures in their infant stages. The description below is the one I entered
for the contest. In the castle courtyard, a baby fairytale castle tries to impress her brother by balancing on a ball... but it looks like it'll be stone dust and tears soon, as she loses her balance. Fairytale castles reproduce much like plants, with the males releasing airbourne pollen. The babies are born live into the mother castle, and remain there for some time. Once older, they will head into the world, and take root somewhere. After taking root, their stones become rigid and they lose the mobility they had as children. |
