Pantheon

Title Pantheon
Program/Media Ink Outlines; Coloured Pencils
Description A pantheon mother stands protectively over her baby. Pantheons are one of the lesser-known creatures of heraldry. The usual appearance is deer-like, with long ears, a bushy tail, and a blue coat with stars. They can have composite elements from various other creatures, including panthers. I found that using a normal deer body didn't work too well, as it just looked like a deer with silly ears, so I added in some feline/equine elements. The front legs are based on human joint structure.
