This is a silly verse for children. I intend to illustrate it at some point, but for now, here are the words.

My Monster

My monster isn't scary: he only has one eye.
I offered him a body, but it only made him cry.

My monster isn't icky: his eyeball's thick with fur.
And when I scratch his eyelid, he starts his monster purr.

My monster isn't dirty: he showers once a day.
It makes his hair so puffy, the wind blows him away.

My monster isn't evil: he never needs to eat.
Not worms or slime or bogie pies. Not even human meat.
